My discovery of beads opened up a whole new world for me -- it allowed me to study the history of the peoples and cultures relating to each bead and beading technique and design. How could one not grow studying such a history!

Along the way came the knowledge of how to strive for balance and harmony and peace in all things.

Beads are a wonderful medium for translating - an image, an idea, a feeling. They can be used with other beautiful mediums for creating -- vibrant threads, textured cloth and yarns, and other glass -- to say nothing of their portability!

I love teaching others about beads - both the history and wonderful designs and techniques, but I think I am most centered and peaceful when I am able to create a piece that allows others to see the beauty in something I have seen or felt.

Now, when I see somthing beautiful - a lava flow, a waterfall, or a sunset --- I want to set it to beads! !
